MUSIC
What’s your favorite music as the personality?
When my partner asked me this question, i stopped and looked at whether or not i will answer this question. I questioned who i am. Am i the personality defined by my likes and dislikes, my judgments on what music is better than or less than myself? Am i the personality that judge some singer better than or less than myself? Am i the personality that is believing that music has to be classified according to a design set up by another personality who defined oneself as better than others because he/she knows more information about music? Am i seeing myself as less than people who knows how to sing or how to play instruments? Am i wanting to be more than myself by defining myself less than myself and then manipulating myself to be more than who i am by trying to learn how to sing or how to play an instrument? Am i the personality that is driven by the melody of certain songs – by making me feel good when i hear them – and some songs making me feel bad? No.
I am just trapped as the personality directed by words defined by my definitions, beliefs, judgments etc. that i have given them. I am not here – the personality is here. When i give words like music a meaning more than (good) or less than (bad) myself through definitions, judgments etc. i make them more special that what they are. I see them as more than what they are and in the process not see them as they are – words, as sound that is here as part of life. I am here as part of life. We are all here making life what it is. Words are life. Sound is life. I am life.
I would like to do self-forgiveness for separating myself from words like music and other words i connected with it according to my beliefs, judgments, definitions etc.
